This is the beginning of my project. A detailed depiction of what it means to be alive right here right now. I aim to document and track the ways in which we experience the physical world, and play with the definition and execution of perception. Come along with me and really take a look at what we have been taking for granted – life itself.
I aim to show (as I discover for myself) how wonderful and beautiful life can be through an analysis of this present tense; which arguably is the only real entity over which we have ever, or will ever exercise any true control. This moment is how you can alter and play with the past, present, and future. Perception is a reaction, and it can be trained. Where there is perception there is deception, and self-deception is the most powerful type of deception in the world.
Perception [per sep shuh n] n. 1: The act of faculty of apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind; cognition; understanding. 2: Immediate or intuitive recognition or appreciation, as of moral, psychological, or aesthetic qualities; insight; intuition; discernment.
